Mount Harvey West Ridge

The recent high pressure system during the week was driving me crazy. On Thursday after I finished work in West Vancouver I drove to Lions Bay. A short 2.5 hour hike up the West Ridge brought me to the heavily corniced summit of Mt Harvey after dark. I dug out a shallow bivy on the SE slopes of the summit and made camp for the night. Wind kept me up for a while and a mouse scratched around my hair, but it was another great night in the mountains. An awesome sunrise in the morning and I was only one hour late for work.
